Don't mess with my eggs!

The beginning of 2024 felt like nothing more than a harsh extension of the chaotic 2023. Determined to change that course, I decided to work on manifestation but  things didn’t quite unfold as I expected. Surely, I wanted to create financial stability, but I also wanted to add the cherry on top by visualizing my future partner.

And yes, in that regard, it seemed to work. Just a week later, he appeared—his looks, age, nationality, even wealth matched exactly what I had imagined. I thought to myself, this is it, the beginning of a new chapter.

Without going into too much detail, things with him moved at a brisk pace—concerts, theater, trips, adventures, all generously sponsored by Mister X. I took advantage of the high tide and surfed the wave, while trying to ignore the red flags already flashing before me.

To give you an idea, he promised me a €500,000 sailing boat and nearly a million-euro villa in Tuscany where we could retire in two years. He said he loved me after just a week of dating, and even promised to pay off the loan on my apartment so that we could set off on a boat trip to cruise into a life of adventure.

I have to admit, I had the “too good to be true” feeling, but I quickly silenced it with the thought, learn to deserve good things. The passion was there, but a strange coldness began to creep into his messages. No more good-night texts, his tone growing drier. Still, I convinced myself not to worry—it could be a cultural difference, after all, he’s Anglo-Saxon. So I kept patching the cracks on the wall, as if repairing a fragile dam. And you know, water may be soft, but once contained, it can turn into a natural disaster.

Days went by as we shared our passions. He got me into cycling, and I introduced him to my fitness world. Fun was always present. Mister X knew very well my determination in sports and fitness, and how I paired that with a high-protein diet to maximize results. I’m a performer—I like doing my best—so my meals are part of my ritual.

One morning, eager for a lower-body session at the gym, I prepared breakfast: 8 egg whites and 2 whole eggs—just for me. Yes, that much protein. I had tested it, and it worked for me. Out of nowhere, he began criticizing the quantity. As a sign of control, he even removed half my portion from my plate, insisting it wasn’t good for my health.

I was astonished. I wasn’t sure how to react. I stayed calm, though inside, something powerful began to awaken.

You see, I know what consistency and willpower it takes to reach a goal. I know discipline is the antidote to lack of motivation, and those values have shaped me as both an athlete and a human being. So I realized—it wasn’t just about the missing protein grams. It was about what my brain was screaming: This is taking you away from your success.

Success built with grit, tenacity, and the ability to maintain a lifestyle. My mind might have tolerated the red flags for the sake of acceptance, but when it comes to triumphs, she remembers exactly what it took to get there. And trust me, she loves those victories too much to ever betray me.

So, Mister X thought I would be subdued by his promises of a bright future. He wanted to place his "doll" inside a crystal ball of souvenirs, sparkling with all the glitter he offered.

I probably disappointed him, but I refused to let that happen—not even for his one-million-euro promises.

Everything unfolded naturally, and the two of us eventually went our separate ways.

2025 is a new journey—finding balance between income and freedom.

I’m happily single, and especially joyful because no one, absolutely no one, is messing with my eggs!

Love ya!
